The OCPLC Governing Board is comprised of seven members representing
the cities of Crestview, Destin, Fort Walton Beach, Mary Esther,
Niceville and Valparaiso as well as Okaloosa County.
They function effectively as an administrative entity responsible
for approving policies, plans and budgetary expenditures pertaining
to the Cooperative and member libraries. Additionally, the Board
serves as an advocate of library service and helps promote local
programs ensuring that the needs of the community are met successfully.
Furthermore, they advocate for increased funding for libraries
at both the local and state level. Local libraries and library users
in Okaloosa County are fortunate to be affiliated with this dedicated
and committed group of individuals, and we thank them for their
continued support.
